We work with a number of professional organisations to offer ALL our members a series of workshops delivered in a virtual meeting room, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the different subjects.

With an easy online booking system, your place will be confirmed back to you and a link to attend will be sent a few days before the workshop.

Bet You Can Help Gambling Awareness Seminar

Take part in one of our one-hour workshops looking at gambling-related harms and raising awareness of how trade unions and employers can work together to support staff in the workplace.

Tackling Gambling Related Harms Level 2 Award

This course is accredited through the Royal Society for Public Health and will be delivered through four modules, giving delegates the information, knowledge and resources to offer support to people affected by harmful gambling. It will also cover how to approach the subject with employers and colleagues.


There will be a short assessment at the end of the course to achieve the Level 2 Award. 

Understanding The National Minimum Wage

This session is run by the HMRC and will cover:

  • What is NMW and who is entitled
  • How HMRC investigate
  • The common risks associated with the NMW - how to spot them
  • Real-life case examples
  • How to report underpayment
Writing Matters, Writing skills for the workplace

Delivered by a professional writer, each workshop will be tailor-made to address the specific learning needs of the participants.

  • Taking notes and writing minutes
  • Report writing
  • Speech writing (including motions)

With a mixture of practical exercises, helpful information and friendly discussion, the workshop will help you to:

  • Feel more confident about writing in the workplace
