What is Care Work?

This short course will help you to decide if working in Care is the right path for you. We will look at different job roles and different types of care.You will be able to discuss and explore what skills are needed to become a care worker. A longer progression “Get into Care” course is available for those wishing to gain more knowledge in Care work.

Identify Your Transferable Skills

This course will discuss what transferable skills actually means, what skills participants have versus the skills they need in the current workplace. It will also inform the top five transferable skills which employers want and provide information on how to improve these skills.
